Where to go out to eat in West Miami

The West Miami Publix is an employee-owned, American supermarket chain headquartered in Lakeland, Florida. You can also check out Sedano’s Supermarket, a family-owned business and neighborhood grocery store selling Latin products. 

Where to work out in West Miami

Also known as “The Rec,” the fenced-in City of West Miami Recreation Center is the jewel of the city, complete with a baseball field, two full basketball courts, a tennis court, and a racquetball court. The recreation center also has a small gym and two ballrooms.

You can also work out in Cooper Park, which features green spaces, a walking path, a playground, and a little peace and quiet. This is the perfect place to have a picnic, work up a sweat, or get some fresh air. 

Nightlife in West Miami

Happy Wine Calle Ocho is a local hotspot with a huge wine selection, delicious tapas, great live entertainment, and a laid-back atmosphere. 

You can also check out Pueblito Viejo, which serves up authentic Colombian food. It also features a full-service bar and live entertainment on weekends to complete the experience. 

Transportation in West Miami

The city of Miami is connected with a wide variety of free trolley routes connecting popular areas along Biscayne Bay, Brickell, Coconut Grove, Coral Way, Historic Overtown, Downtown Miami, and Wynwood.
