If you’re a property manager thinking about partnering with Landing to help bring in new residents to your apartments, you may have heard of Landing hosts. However, who exactly are these people, and where do they fit into your apartment rental process?

Here’s some more information on who Landing hosts are, what they do, and how your team can benefit from them.

Who are Landing hosts?

Landing relies on a network of over 3,000 hosts to help us ensure a high-quality property and member experience. They are responsible for the onsite management of our affiliated units and specialize in key functions that make member move-ins seamless and efficient. Hosts are essentially local ambassadors who bridge the gaps between your property, Landing, and Landing members.

All Landing hosts have passed a background check and are certified in their respective specialities, meaning they are held to high standards and only work in areas in areas in which they have extensive knowledge.

Here are some examples of what Landing hosts handle (and take off property managers’ plates!).

Cleaning and laundry

Whether you’re renting out an apartment for the first time or another Landing member is moving into a previously occupied unit, Landing hosts ensure that the apartment has been appropriately cleaned and/or turned over. This includes doing laundry, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, and washing linens, among other services.

Concierge services

Our hosts are also responsible for welcoming Landing members when they arrive at your property. The resident will meet them at the door to receive their key, and then the host will give them a full tour of the property and their unit, provide Wi-Fi information, and answer any questions they may have. This is huge for property managers, as you’ll no longer be responsible for coordinating with individual residents and giving tours, freeing your team up to work on other projects.

Apartment installations

Landing hosts also help install each Landing apartment by building furniture, putting toiletries in place, and setting up Wi-Fi. They also ensure that the apartment has everything a member needs to start their new life there, such as dishes, towels, and other necessities.

All in all, Landing hosts are an integral part of our top-tier partnerships with property managers around the U.S., and everyone benefits by having a local guide in place to ensure quality and make your residents feel welcome and informed.
