My Favorite Things to Do in San Francisco

Grabbing a coffee at Cafe Trieste or Cafe Greco in North Beach and enjoying the people-watching.

Hiking the Lands End Trail over the mighty Pacific Ocean.

Digging into a real SF burrito at La Cumbre or Taquería San Jose in the Mission.

Riding the collection of antique streetcars up and down Market Street.

Volunteering to help the homeless at Glide, Saint Anthony's, or any of the other Tenderloin organizations devoted to this cause.

"Although I now spend much of my time traveling the world, particularly in Latin America, there is still nothing like returning to my city at the end of an adventure. The food, bohemian culture, parks and coastlines, and diverse neighborhoods, all gathered together in a walkers paradise, is simply unrivaled anywhere around the globe."
