Set it up (about a minute)
- Turn on developer mode. In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.
- Add Landing as an app. Go to chatgpt.com/plugins and select the + button. Name it Landing, add a short description, and under Connection enter
https://www.hellolanding.com/mcp/openai. If asked about authentication, choose No authentication. Then create it. - Use it in a conversation. Start a new conversation, open the + menu, choose Developer mode, and select Landing.
Developer mode is available on ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Education plans, on the web. On a workspace plan, your admin may need to allow it.

Set it up
- Open the directory. In Claude on the web or desktop, go to Customize, then Connectors, and browse the directory. Search for “Landing”.
- Connect Landing. Open the Landing listing and select Connect to Claude.
- Start a new conversation. Make sure Landing is turned on, then ask in plain language.

What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that lets AI assistants call outside services for live data. Landing’s connector is an MCP server. Emerson is the lowest quote, but the listing doesn’t mention a workspace. Carriage Homes has one, with a 2.3 rating. Viceroy has a business center and a 5.0 rating for $99.04 more than Carriage Homes over the stay. We went with Viceroy.

Result: 7 apartments with three or more bedrooms. The Beverly at Shadow Lake 2-0731 in Houston: 1,250 sq ft, $9,792.13 for 123 nights with one dog, with parking and in-unit laundry.
Interns
I’m interning in Atlanta from January 11 to May 7, 2027. Find me a furnished studio or one-bedroom under $2,500 a month that’s walkable and has a co-working space.
Result: 44 apartments under $2,500 a month. ELLA Apartments 3403 in Atlanta: a 559 sq ft studio, $8,006.48 for 116 nights, with a co-working space and a walk score of 62. Check the walk to your office before you book.
Short stays
Find me a furnished one-bedroom in Phoenix from November 6 to November 13, 2026, with parking and an in-unit washer and dryer. Show three options under $1,000 for the week.
Result: 45 apartments with one or more bedrooms. Three one-bedrooms under $1,000 for the 7 nights, all with parking and in-unit laundry: Solei on West Thomas 139 in Phoenix at $789.28, Solace at Ballpark Village 3014 in Goodyear at $833.56 and Honeycutt Run 36 in Maricopa at $959.16. The last two are in the suburbs, outside Phoenix.
Long stays
I’m moving to Denver for a year. Find a furnished one-bedroom from January 4, 2027 to January 3, 2028, under $2,800 a month, with in-unit laundry, in a walkable neighborhood.
Result: 42 apartments under $2,800 a month. Mile High Place 411 in Denver: 520 sq ft, $24,628.03 for 364 nights, with in-unit laundry and a walk score of 80. No parking is listed, so ask if you need it.

What a good prompt includes
- City, plus a neighborhood, employer, campus or hospital if location matters
- Exact dates, move-in and move-out
- Budget, per night or per month
- Bedrooms and bathrooms
- Who’s coming, including pets by type
- Must-haves like parking, workspace, in-unit laundry, elevator, ground floor
- What you want back, like “the top three”, “compare these”, “a quote with the payment schedule”
