Beautiful little Mizuna boasts New American cuisine that’s consistently rated among the best restaurants in the country. Despite this accolade, this Colorado restaurant still maintains an intimate, neighborly feel and a menu that changes every month. 

Luca is another must-try Capitol Hill spot. This family-owned Italian restaurant is as upscale as it is unfussy, with a wood-fired oven and a menu meant for sharing. 

Best drinks in Capitol Hill 

Denver’s most authentic taparia, the 9th Door Capitol Hill, is the perfect place to stop for great drinks and shareable dishes. 

Vesper Lounge is another hot spot in the Denver area, which serves up delicious Moroccan-style bites and a Vesper cocktail on tap. Vesper’s motto is “No Anger,” which is something we can definitely get behind! 

Where to get coffee in Capitol Hill 

Thump Genuine Coffee is a delicious Colorado coffee spot that is guided by the fundamental desire to create both a better cup of coffee and an overall better experience for the people who drink it. 

Another top Denver coffee shop is Roostercat Coffee House on Lincoln Street. This unique, women-led cafe stays super cozy with its brick walls, local art, and a patio with a fire pit. Be sure you don’t leave before trying one of its signature waffle sandwiches! 

Where to get groceries in Capitol Hill 

Capitol Market is a local convenience store on Grant Street selling grocery products, precooked meals, and more. For groceries, home goods, and international ingredients, head over to City Store Market

Where to work out in Capitol Hill

The Fainting Goat is a Colorado pub that prides itself on being the neighborhood bar. This full-service Irish sports bar is where to go if you want to feel like a local. 

For a night of live music, visit Ogden Theater, which offers standing-room live music and even livelier energy. 

Transportation in Capitol Hill

Public transit is accessible in the Capitol Hill area via light rail, bus, or train, but most people tend to use ride-shares or cars to get around.
